A diamond’s beauty is felt instantly, shaped by light, proportion, and balance. The Four Cs—cut, color, clarity, and carat—offer a clear way to understand its unique character.
Color
Diamond colour reflects how much visible hue is present—the more colourless the stone, the better it reflects light and brilliance. While natural diamonds may show slight yellow or brown tones, lab-grown diamonds are created in controlled conditions, resulting in a higher range of colourless stones.
Graded from D (colourless) to Z (light colour), lab-grown diamonds are typically found in the near-colourless to colourless range—ensuring a clean, bright appearance.
Cut
Cut is the key to a diamond’s brilliance. It refers to how well the facets are proportioned, aligned, and polished—not its shape. A well-cut diamond reflects light with balance and precision, while poor proportions allow light to escape, reducing sparkle.
For this reason, only Excellent to Ideal cut stones are chosen for their superior light performance and refined appearance.
Clarity
Clarity refers to the natural internal and surface features within a diamond, known as inclusions. These are usually microscopic and rarely visible to the naked eye.
Diamonds in the VVS to VS range often appear completely clean, offering a balance of purity and value—ensuring a refined look without unnecessary excess.
Carat
Carat refers to a diamond’s weight, not its visible size. How large it appears depends on its cut and shape—some designs look bigger, while others carry weight beneath the surface.
That’s why both carat and actual dimensions are considered to ensure the diamond feels well-proportioned and visually balanced.
